Astro psychology
The interaction between astrology and psychology and anastrology reasons of mental problems.
The interaction between astrology and psychology is a complex and controversial topic. Astrology is the belief that the positions and movements of celestial bodies, such as planets and stars, can influence human behavior and personality traits. Psychology, on the other hand, is the scientific study of the human mind and behavior. Here, we’ll explore how these two fields interact and the perspectives of each. At first glance, Astropsychology may seem like a simple synthesis of psychology and astrology. But it is much more than that. Each discipline – astrology and psychology- has been radically transformed by the other. Indeed, there are so many correlations and opportunities to consider each other that one could easily spend a lifetime exploring the relationship. In many ways, astrology is the first psychology, as it represents an early means of understanding the nature of the human being. Rooted in the premise that the cosmos reflects the psyche. The ancients systematically observed how the nature and cycles of the planets corresponded to the nature and experience of human beings.
Ancient and medieval astrologers were preoccupied with so-called ‘good’ and ‘bad’ planetary positions – malefic planets, evil aspects, weaknesses, downfalls, afflictions and other such ominous categories of meaning. Although they were obviously aware that humans undergo an aging process that ends in death, there was little or no concept of evolution, that is, of the psycho-spiritual growth of the individual.
Accordingly, astrology was largely limited to superficial descriptions of traits, fateful events, and dubious predictions of good and bad times. Although some scholars might argue that ancient astrology was actually more complex and tech-rich than its modern ramifications, this should not take away from the fact that our ancient ancestors were bound by a fatalistic model of the cosmos that they prevented them from appreciating how lived experience—that is, fate—can serve as a catalyst for learning and change, and how learning and change can in turn change fate, personality, through psychology.
Psychology is not limited to describing personality types. In addition, they are able to explain how people change and develop over time. Psychology developed alongside theories of psychopathology and psychotherapy, the former concerned with how normal development might be missed and the latter with how best to facilitate the healing and recovery process. In this regard, psychology began to chart territory previously unexplored in the field of astrology. Astropsychology is both a theory of personality and a diagnostic tool. As a theory of personality, it reveals how the structure and dynamics of the psyche are reflected in external conditions that provide a stimulus for psycho- spiritual growth. And as a diagnostic tool, it provides unparalleled insight into the underlying character problems that cause distress and impairment.
Perhaps the horoscope is best understood as a symbol of an unfolding story in which fate is changed by the development and unfolding of character.
In relationships, astropsychology helps people better understand the other party’s desires, as well as their emotions.
Astropsychology can serve as a mediator in certain relationships in life. Whether business, personal, judicial, etc… very well it can be see the overall picture of the circumstances and help to resolve, understand and harmonize.
